The process known as NVIDIA D3D Shim Driver (version 381.65, 376.54) belongs to software NVIDIA D3D shim drivers by NVIDIA (Description: Igd10umd32.dll is not essential for the Windows OS and causes relatively few problems. My graphics interface is set for DirectX 9.0c if that matters at all. To install a mod for Banished, you just need to move the mod file (modname.pkm) into the WinData folder. Vsync is off, I've tried exiting full screen and it doesn't have any affect. My intel driver can be updated(even though it's not allowing me to for some reason), however that should not affect it and the first 11 hours was played under same conditions. I've got no idea what the problem may be. some of the banished sites will have older versions of the mods and some of those mods especially in the Steam exchange may be copies of other peoples mods, also the latest Banished version of the game is 1.0.
I've deleted all local files and reinstalled through steam, still nothing. A couple of things to note before starting to download mods for Banished. I've tried going into my folders and deleting application-steam-圆4.exe and then recovering it by going through steam and verifying integrity of game cache, but that does nothing. It's downloaded off of steam, and about 3 seconds after loading any save game it gives me that message. I'm running Nvidia Geforce GTX 960m and have put in around 11 hours into the game when suddenly this morning my game won't work.
